NEW REQUIREMENT...only 1 women required per team, and she does not have to be on the court at all times!!
Also, for those teams coming from out of town, the registration fees can be paid on Sunday, the date of the tournament.
Get your team together for the Hood River 2008 St. Paddles Day Kayak Polo Tournament!!Sunday, March 16th11 am - 4 pmHood River Aquatic Center (For directions: http://hoodriverparksandrec.org/ $5 per person*If you already purchased a season pass...then you are already paid for :)We need volunteers to help run the tournament!! Please let Amy (541 490 7455) know if you are able to help with score keeping, shagging balls, etc. :)THERE WILL BE A POTLUCK, BBQ, and little something else that comes in a keg, SO BRING YOUR FAVORITE APPETIZER, DISH OR BEVERAGE TO SHARE :)Some rules:-8 people total per team, 1 women required per team :)-Boat length not to exceed 8' 6"...creek boats, play boats and regulation kayak polo boats are great. No sea, recreational or touring kayaks please.-Sign up's due by Tuesday March 11th to Amy (541 490 7455), and team entry fee ($5 per person in due on Sunday March 16th).-The evening of March 11th, from 8 -9:30 pm, there will be a scrimmage at the Hood River Aquatic Center for all teams wishing to play together before the tournament.-There will be referees for ALL games...so be sure to brush up on the rules What to bring:Kayak, PFD (required), paddle (if a Werner or Seven, please duct tape the edges), and a great attitude!! Full faced caged helmets provided.
