We also had the opportunity to check out Gregory packs. They have a great array of day use packs as well as expedition focused packs. One that we particularly liked was a running/sport pack that comes with two hip pockets on the hip belt, a Z bungee system and pulley that allows you to pack down your hydration unit as you use it on the go, and an energy/water bottle pocket angled so you can access it without removing the pack. All of that at a very reasonable $60 - $100, depending on the pack size.

The multi-day packs come in 4 capacity sizes for women, 3 capacity sizes for men and two torso sizes in most packs for both genders. Sounds like there is a pack in there for every body!
