We want to thank all the folks that came out on July 4th to help us inaugurate our new Rental/Demo center! While we don't anticipate keeping the dock open until midnight on a regular basis, it was great to see people (and their glow sticks) paddling around the bay on a warm summer night after that first rate fireworks show. We hope you all had a great time and we hope this is the first of many special events we'll be able to have on the water!
The new Rental/Demo center (we're still working on a name - any ideas?) will be open 7 days a week, from 10am until 6pm. The center is just a hop-skip-and-a-couple-blocks from the shop, so if you show up & don't see anyone down there, give us a call at 541.386.4286 & we'll send someone down right away!
While the center is open & ready for use, we're really excited about some work we still have planned: a new gangplank ("walk the plank, mateys!") as well as some new picnic tables for hanging out. So, whether you're visiting and want to rent a recreational or sea kayak, demo a whitewater boat or just take your own boats down to play around in the water on these crazy hot, wind free days we've been having - consider our dock, your dock!
